During February, also dedicated to Literacy Month at our public schools, author Gigi Mischele Miller and her talented illustrator, Pedro High School student, Melia Baker, held a Meet and Greet at the school's library to sign books and illustrations, say hello and talk about Riley Whale. A handful of students and teachers bought copies of my book and Melia signed lots of copies of her colorful illustrations.  It was a great day at Pedro, my favorite high school!
